A series of multifunctional 2‐amino‐5‐cyano‐4‐[(2‐aryl)‐1H‐indol‐3‐yl]‐6‐hydroxypyrimidines ( 4a , 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e , 4f ) was synthesized by multicomponent reaction of 3‐formylindole ( 1 ), cyanoethylacetate ( 2 ), and guanidine hydrochloride ( 3 ) with NaOH by using green chemical techniques, viz. microwave irradiation and grindstone technology. The same reactants when refluxed in ethanol also gave titled compounds ( 4a , 4b , 4c , 4d , 4e , 4f ). Compared with conventional procedure, the reaction can be carried out under milder conditions, requiring a shorter reaction time and giving higher yields following the green chemistry methodology. All the synthesized compounds have been characterized on the basis of elemental analyses and spectral data (IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and mass). All synthesized compounds were also evaluated for their antimicrobial activity against nine pathogenic bacteria, antifungal activity against Rhizopus stolonifer, Aspergillus flavus, and Fusarium oxysporum and antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa at different concentrations. Most of the compounds showed mild to moderate activity. 相似文献

2‐Acetyl‐1‐pyrroline (2AP) is known as a principal basmati aroma compound. The present study aims at discriminating rhizobacteria isolated from soils cultivated with basmati and non‐basmati rice for long duration. Volatile profiling was used as marker to discriminate the rhizobacterial isolates. Quantification of 2AP and other volatile compounds (VCs) produced by rhizobacteria was undertaken using HS‐SPME coupled with GC‐MS. Chemometrics tools such as hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA), principle component analysis (PCA) and multi dimensional scaling (MDS) were applied for volatile profiling of different isolates. Results showed significant discrimination of all 2AP producing (AP‐P) and non‐producing rhizobacterial isolates (AP‐NP) on the basis of their VC profile. This was validated by bacterial identification data as well. The frequency distribution for 2AP levels indicates that basmati isolates had higher frequency for 2AP production as compared to non‐basmati control. AP‐P and AP‐NP isolates have different VC profiling pattern irrespective of their origin. These isolates were found belonging to different groups when identified using 16S rDNA sequencing data. Chemometric analysis (PCA, HCA and MDS) helped to identify volatiles, which could be used as biomarker in discriminating the AP‐P and AP‐NP isolates. VC pattern of rhizobacteria could be used as volatile markers to distinguish between AP‐P and AP‐NP rhizobacterial isolates. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

The present report focuses on the efficient and operationally simple synthesis of biomass-derived carbon as support to immobilize copper particles as a catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of propargylamines from furfural via the A3 coupling reaction. This new catalyst showed remarkable catalytic performance leading to a 97% yield within 5 h at 80 °C using 5 mg (0.0022 mmol Cu) of Cu/C catalyst under solvent-free condition. Moreover, nitro-substituted compounds such as 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) are highly toxic and not easily degradable. Hence, a quick and effective method is required to neutralize these toxic compounds. The synthesized active support Cu/C catalyst having various electron-donating groups containing small amounts of Cu plays an essential role in the catalytic reduction of 4-NP (0.1 g). Using only 3 mg (0.0013 mmol Cu) of Cu/C catalyst and NaBH4 (10 mmol), a 99% yield (100% selectivity) in the aqueous condition at 25 °C was achieved. The catalytic reduction follows the pseudo-first-order kinetics with reaction rate constant of 0.028 s−1. Moreover, results demonstrate that the Cu/C catalyst has superior catalytic activity due to the presence of electron-donating molecules such as O, S, and N atoms, which enable synergistic effect in enhancing the overall catalytic performance. Notably, the recoverability and recyclability of the synthesized catalyst were evaluated for up to four cycles, which confirmed its stability in these cycles. 相似文献

This paper illustrates the Ultrasound Assisted Extraction (UAE) of β-carotene from Spirulina platensis. Various parameters such as extraction time, solvent type, biomass to solvent ratio, temperature, electrical acoustic intensity, length of the probe tip dipped into the solvent, duty cycle and pre treatment effect were explored for the extraction of β-carotene. From economic point of view, the optimal conditions for the extraction of β-carotene from Spirulina were 1.5 g Spirulina (2 min pre soaked in methanol) in 50 ml n-heptane at 30 °C temperature, 167 W/cm2 electrical acoustic intensity and 61.5% duty cycle for 8 min with probe tip length of 0.5 cm dipped into the extracting solvent from the surface. The maximum extraction achieved under the above mentioned optimum parameters was 47.10%. The pre-treatment time showed a promising effect on the yield as pre-treating the biomass with methanol for 2 min before ultrasonication showed 12 times increase in extraction yield of β-carotene. 相似文献

A comprehensive first principles study of structural, elastic, electronic, and phonon properties of zirconium carbide (ZrC) is reported within the density functional theory scheme. The aim is to primarily focus on the vibrational properties of this transition metal carbide to understand the mechanism of phase transition. The ground state properties such as lattice constant, elastic constants, bulk modulus, shear modulus, electronic band structure, and phonon dispersion curves (PDC) of ZrC in rock-salt (RS) and high-pressure CsCl structures are determined. The pressure-dependent PDCs are also reported in NaCl phase. The phonon modes become softer and finally attain imaginary frequency with the increase of pressure. The lattice degree of freedom is used to explain the phase transition. Static calculations predict the RS to CsCl phase transition to occur at 308?GPa at 0?K. Dynamical calculations lower this pressure by about 40?GPa. The phonon density of states, electron–phonon interaction coefficient, and Eliashberg's function are also presented. The calculated electron–phonon coupling constant λ and superconducting transition temperature agree reasonably well with the available experimental data. 相似文献
